§ Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 May 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AStudio (the "Service"), operated by Alkistis Triantafyllopoulou, an individual sole trader based in Greece ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
AStudio is an AI-assisted critique and precedent tool for architecture students and practitioners. Features may evolve over time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction (or have the consent of a parent or guardian). If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow any third party to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful purpose;
- Send spam or distribute malware through the Service;
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- Probe, scan, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent allowed by law;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent;
- Circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or other technical restrictions.
4. Generative AI — your inputs and outputs
AStudio uses third-party AI models to generate critiques, suggestions and visual references based on the drawings, images and text you upload ("Inputs") and produces written and visual responses ("Outputs").
- You are responsible for your Inputs. You must have all rights necessary to upload them, and they must not contain illegal content, content that violates third-party rights, hateful or harassing material, sexual content involving minors, malware, jailbreak attempts, or instructions to produce any of the above.
- Outputs may be inaccurate. AI-generated critique is a study aid, not professional architectural, structural, legal, regulatory or safety advice. You are responsible for verifying any Output before relying on it, and for how you use it. The Service must not be used as the sole basis for built work, permitting, or any safety-critical decision.
- Moderation. We may filter, refuse, or remove Outputs and suspend accounts that misuse the Service. We may retain prompts and Outputs for abuse prevention and quality improvement.
- IP & takedowns. If you believe an Input or Output infringes your rights, contact us at the address in section 12 with a description of the work and the alleged infringement, and we will review and act in good faith. Repeat infringers will be terminated.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title and interest in and to the Service, including software, models we control, branding, documentation and the AStudio name. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal or internal professional use during your subscription, in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of your Inputs and, as between you and us, of the Outputs generated for you. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and process your Inputs and Outputs solely to provide and improve the Service.
6. Subscriptions, payments and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, currency, renewal and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if: (a) you materially breach these Terms; (b) your payment fails and is not cured; (c) we reasonably believe your use creates a security, legal, or fraud risk; or (d) you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination, after which we may delete it.
8. Warranties & disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims and associated costs arising out of (a) your Inputs, (b) your use of Outputs, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. The courts of Athens, Greece will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Questions about these Terms can be sent via our contact page. Order, billing, refund and invoice questions should be sent to Paddle at paddle.net.
13. Force majeure & assignment
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
